GMP Pharmaceuticals Ltd based in Auckland has won the “Innovation in Supply Chain” award sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airlines at the HSBC NZCTA China Business Awards 2013 announced at a special event on 30th May 2013.
As the largest supplement manufacturer in New Zealand contract manufacturing, GMP Pharmaceuticals manufactures a variety of customised supplements for New Zealand and overseas markets. In addition, GMP owns and is operating the most advanced pharmaceutical grade infant dairy formula plant in New Zealand.
New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, China Ambassador Xu Jian Guo, Consulate General Niu Qing Bao, and Trade Commissioner Fan Zhang were the awards witness at the special night.
Graham Kearns, Executive Director of the New Zealand China Trade Association Inc. (NZCTA) that organised the awards, said: “We are thrilled to acknowledge the company with a significant presence in New Zealand that also have profitable and sustained relationships with businesses in China.”
GMP Pharmaceuticals recognises significant investment and innovation in developing a supply chain to increase China/New Zealand business flows.
