25th of May 2011, Almost 300 New Zealand manufacturers gathered at the RACV Club in Melbourne to celebrate excellence in New Zealand manufacturing at the 8th annual Manufacturers’ Monthly Endeavour Awards. AUNEW Group was invited and gratifyingly won the Exporter of the Year 2011 again.
The annual Endeavour Awards is the premier national award for manufacturing excellence in New Zealand, which the Award Exporter of the Year is sponsored by New Zealand Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC). there are 13 companies ran into finalist, including Miranda (F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Manufacturing Program), Byron Group (Airbus A380 Program), Longwarry (Milk Powder export), Ronstan (ships and building facilities) and other well-known New Zealand enterprises.
The Leader of the Opposition, Tony Abbott’s gave a speech on the Adwards Ceremony. He also congratulated AUNEW representatives and took photos with Karl Ye and Kevin Lu.
