The Indian Business Awards 2009 was grandly held in Stamford Plaza of Auckland on November 16 and New Zealand Pharmaceutical GMP of Aunew group won the highest award in the category of large-scale enterprises.
The judging panel comprised Nevil Gibson, Editor-in-Chief, The National Business Review, Vijaya Vaidyanath, Chief Executive, Waitakere City Council, Steve Corbett, Chief Executive, e-Centre Ltd, Massey University , David Hawkins, Associate Professor, Unitec School of Design and some well-known entrepreneurs . They spoke highly of New Zealand’s major pharmaceutical companies,which made use of all various of national resources to export products and services. The successful application of “One Stop OEM Service” business model made GMP pharmaceutical companies, established in 2002, quickly become New Zealand’s largest pharmaceutical and functional food processing plant.
New Zealand Prime Minister ,John Key, leader of the Opposition, Phil Goff, Waitakere Mayor Bob Harvey and Manukau Mayor Len Brown went to the site to congratulate the winners. Last year, Phil Goff, Minister of Trade, had personally written to extend congratulations towards the opening of AUNEW HUB’s Beijing flagship.
